Privacy Policy
This page explains exactly what MageClient collects when you buy a gift card, why we need it, who else sees it, how long we keep it and how to get it removed. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are
MageClient is a digital gift card store operating in Trinidad & Tobago. MageClient is a trading name of ServersRus Hosting (trading as ServersRus), business registration B2026052000033, registered in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago, and that entity is the data controller for everything described on this page. For anything on this page, contact us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at +1 868 478-1217.
What we collect
- Your name
- To identify the order and to pass to the payment processor as the cardholder name.
- Your email address
- To send the receipt and the gift card code. This is the only place a code is ever sent.
- Your phone number
- Required by our payment processor, and used by us to reach you if an order needs sorting out.
- Order details
- Which card, what amount, the TTD price, the time, and the payment status.
- Technical data
- Standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and a session cookie that keeps your basket and your security token working. No advertising or tracking cookies.
What we never collect
We never see your card number. Card payments happen on WiPay's own hosted page; your card details go to them and never touch our servers. We receive only the result — paid or not paid — and a reference. We do not ask for, and have no use for, your ID, address or date of birth.
Who your data is shared with
- WiPay — our Trinidad & Tobago payment gateway. They receive your name, email, phone and the amount, in order to take the payment. Their handling of your card details is governed by their own terms.
- Our gift card supplier — an international gift card distribution platform. They receive the order amount and, for some brands, the delivery email address, in order to issue the code. They do not receive your phone number.
- Our email provider — to deliver the receipt and the code to your inbox.
That is the complete list. We do not sell your details, we do not share them with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask to join.
How your data is protected
The site runs over HTTPS. Gift card codes are encrypted at rest in our database and are released only to the email address on the order — they are never printed in our internal notifications or in any admin listing. Administrative access is restricted and password protected. No system is perfect, and we would rather tell you what we actually do than claim a standard we do not meet.
How long we keep it
Order records — including your name, email, phone and what you bought — are kept for seven years, which is the period T&T accounting practice expects records of sale to be retained for. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then rotated away.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address above and we will action it within a reasonable period. Note that we may have to keep the bare record of a completed sale to meet accounting obligations even after deleting the rest.
Cookies
One cookie, and it is functional: a session cookie that carries your basket and the security token that stops a third party submitting a form as you. It expires when you close your browser or after eight hours. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracker on this site.
Children
This shop is not intended for children. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to make the purchase.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be mentioned at checkout rather than made quietly.
