Terms of sale & refund policy

Plain English, because the things that go wrong with gift cards are specific and you deserve to know the rules before you pay rather than after.

Who you are buying from

MageClient is a Trinidad & Tobago digital gift card retailer. We are a reseller: the cards are issued by the brands themselves and supplied to us through an international gift card distribution platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent for any of the brands whose cards we sell, and all trademarks remain the property of their owners.

Who you are contracting with

MageClient is a trading name of ServersRus Hosting (trading as ServersRus), business registration B2026052000033, registered in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and the courts of Trinidad & Tobago have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

What you are buying

A digital gift card code, delivered by email. It carries a US-dollar balance. It is not a physical card, nothing is shipped, and the code cannot be posted or collected.

Region differs by card. Most of our catalogue is US-region and must be redeemed on an account or store set to the United States. Some cards are global and are not tied to any one country, and two of the prepaid cards are accepted only by merchants inside the United States. The region that applies to what you are buying is stated on that card's own product page, in the “Card region” row of its fact table, and that statement is the one that governs the sale — not this page, and not any general description elsewhere on the site. If it is not clear, ask us before you pay.

Prices and currency

Every price on the site is stated in Trinidad & Tobago dollars, including the exchange rate applied on the day and our margin. That figure is the total: nothing further is added at checkout. Card payments are charged in TTD, so your bank should not apply a foreign-currency conversion fee. Prices change with the exchange rate; the price you are shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

Payment

Card payments are processed by WiPay, a Trinidad and Tobago payment gateway. We never see, handle or store your card number. Bank transfer is offered where a receiving account is published; the order is held until the transfer is confirmed, and the code is released after that. An order that is never paid simply expires — you are not billed for it.

Delivery

Card payments are fulfilled automatically and the code is normally emailed within a minute of the payment clearing. A receipt is emailed separately, and always, the moment payment clears — so if you have a receipt but no code, the payment succeeded and the delivery is what needs chasing. Bank transfers are released once the payment is confirmed, during banking hours.

Occasionally a brand is out of stock at the supplier, or an order fails at their end. If we cannot deliver a code, you get a full refund — see below.

Refunds and cancellations

A gift card code is spendable the instant it is issued, which is why the rules are what they are:

  • Code not delivered — full refund. If we take payment and cannot issue a code, you get all of it back, or a replacement card of the same value, whichever you prefer.
  • Faulty or already-redeemed code — replaced. If a code does not work when it reaches you, tell us with your order reference and we will replace it or refund it. Report it promptly: the sooner it is raised, the more the supplier can do.
  • Delivered and working codes are not refundable. Once a valid code has reached you it cannot be returned, because we have no way to prove it has not been spent or copied. This includes buying the wrong brand, the wrong amount, or a card for the wrong region.
  • Cancellation before delivery. If you have paid but the code has not yet been issued, message us immediately and we will cancel and refund if we can reach it in time.

Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 working days to appear, depending on your bank.

Card region and expiry — read before buying

Buying a card that will not redeem on your account is the single most common avoidable mistake, so to be explicit: most of these are US cards, and a few are not. Each product page states its own region in the “Card region” row, and that is the binding statement for that sale. Check it, and check your account's country setting, and if you are not certain, ask us before paying rather than after.

Expiry is set by the card's issuer, not by us, and it varies — some brand cards never expire, while several of the virtual Visa and Mastercard reward products expire in six or twelve months and some are usable only at US merchants. Each product page shows that card's own redemption terms. Once a code has been delivered, an expiry you did not read is not grounds for a refund.

Your data

We collect your name, email and phone number to process the order and deliver the code, and we keep the order record for accounting. Gift card codes are encrypted at rest, sent only to the email address on the order, and are never included in our internal notifications. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing you did not ask for. The full detail — what we collect, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted — is in our Privacy Policy.

Fraud

Orders that look fraudulent may be held or cancelled and refunded before a code is issued. If somebody has asked you to buy gift cards to pay a fee, a fine, a tax bill or a debt — stop. No legitimate authority or company in Trinidad & Tobago is paid in gift cards, and a code you hand over is gone. Message us and we will help you check.
